In the afternoon of December 18th, 2013, Mr. Timothy P. Cole, President of United States University (USU – America), visited and worked in the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Associate professor Doctor Bui Xuan Lam, Director of Institute of International Education as well as Vice Rector of HUTECH, gave a warm welcome to the guests.
In the meeting, HUTECH and USU had a discussion on the promising education collaboration in different areas such as business, management and art. The student exchange program in which USU students come to study in HUTECH and intern in many illoustrious enterprizes around the country will become the very first step to initiate other coming cooperation programs in the future. The credits that these students earn will then be equivalently transferred to USU and counted as a semester in their institution.
